This video tutorial demonstrates how to disable printing in a PDF document using Windows Explorer. Locate the PDF file, right-click, and choose "Make Secure PDF" in the PDF Writer. Ensure that the "Allowed Printing" checkbox is deselected in the Printing and Viewing tab before clicking "Publish". A protection status window will confirm the success of the process. The protected PDF file now has a .pdc extension and can only be opened using the Lock Lizard Secure PDF Viewer. The Safeguard Secure Viewer will not allow printing, as the print icon is greyed out and keyboard shortcuts are disabled.
