How to write over date document

Hi everyone, my name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can edit a PDF using Microsoft Word, and as full disclosure before we jump into this, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee. All right, well lets jump on the desktop. Here I am on my desktop, and I have a PDF file called certificate. Im going to go ahead and click on that and I have this nice certificate that I found online. Its a PDF file and I run a company and I have some employees who I want to celebrate. You know, instead of giving people a pay raise, Im just going to give him this paper certificate and hopefully that makes them satisfied with this company. No, really, Id probably just give him more money, I think that makes people happy and maybe throw the certificate in too, but heres the certificate and unfortunately, its a PDF and I cant edit the name of the recipient. I cant type anything down here. I cant type in a date. Its kind of annoying how its hard to edit PDFs,

Dates. When a date consists of the day of the month followed by the year, the day of the month should be followed by a comma. When the day of the week is provided before the month, the day of the week should be followed by a comma.
In text, write out the full name of the month, followed by the cardinal number, a comma and the year. Although we read the day as though it were an ordinal (e.g., March 3rd), write the day as March 3. Use the ordinal only when the day appears without the year. Examples: The latest Star Wars film opened on Dec.
(The United States-based convention for formatting a date places the month before the day. For example: June 11, 2001. ) Write out the month, day and year two inches from the top of the page.
Writing the Date in Full In formal writing, always write the date in full when it is part of a sentence. This usually involves giving the day of the month, the month, and the year: The meeting will take place on April 21, 2019. Note that the year follows after a comma.
Errors in Your Legal Document Line through the incorrect information (make sure the information can still be read). Make the change. Date and initial the change. Have the other party date and initial the change also, so its clear that the change has been acknowledged by both parties.
All-numeric dates The Standards Council of Canada also specifies this as the countrys date format. The YYYY - MM - DD format is the only method of writing a numeric date in Canada that allows unambiguous interpretation, and the only officially recommended format.
In America, the date is formally written in month/day/year form. Thus, January 1, 2011 is widely considered to be correct. In formal usage, it is not appropriate to omit the year, or to use a purely numerical form of the date.
The international standard recommends writing the date as year, then month, then the day: YYYY-MM-DD. So if both the Australian and American used this, they would both write the date as 2019-02-03. Writing the date this way avoids confusion by placing the year first. Much of Asia uses this form when writing the date.
If you ask most attorneys why they do it this way, they dont have an answer. The advantages of simply writing the numerals only are obvious. Only one number needs to be inserted or changed. It also takes up less space, and makes a document look less legal.
And it always uses the format YYYY-MM-DD, which removes any chance of confusion: We sent the invoice on 2020-07-10. The date above, for example, denotes July 10, 2020.
