To extract text from your PDF file, use the free online PDF to Text converter from Xodo. Simply upload your PDF, start the conversion process, and download the converted Text file to your device or cloud storage. From there, you can easily reuse, manipulate, and update content in your TXT file as needed.
Click the toolbox icon to open the Markup Toolbar. Click the T icon in the toolbar to create a new text box. Click the text box to select it. You can type in text, drag the corners to adjust the size, or move the text box to a new spot on the PDF.
Heres how to do it: Download Acrobat Reader. Launch the app. Download the PDF form to your device. Open the Acrobat app and press the plus sign at the bottom of the screen. Choose the Edit PDF option and then navigate to the form you want. Touch the pencil icon at the bottom of the screen, then select Edit PDF.
If you cant type into a form field on a pdf, it may be due to a browsers default viewer for pdfs. Fillable forms require docHub or Acrobat Reader/Acrobat DC to fill them out online or on your computer. Many browsers use a different pdf viewer by default that doesnt support fillable form fields.
Lets look at some of the most common issues. Someone else created the PDF and they didnt enable editing capabilities for other users. The PDF document is encrypted with password protection. You may be using a PDF reader that only allows you to preview files, not edit them.
You can fill in PDF forms in Google Drive on your Android device. On your Android device, open the Google Drive app. Tap the PDF that you want to fill in. At the bottom right, tap Edit. Form filling . Enter your information in the PDF form. At the top right, tap Save. To save as a copy, click More.

Open your PDF in Acrobat Pro. Select the Edit PDF tool in the right-hand panel. There will then be a bounding box around the editable items in your file. Use the editing tools to add text, edit text, or update fonts by using the selections from the Format dropdown list.
