hi there my name is poor Darby from Doc scope in this short video I just want to show you how to split some documents using PDF Docs and also how to compress theres been many uses for splitting documents whether you want to break them down by size or whether you want to break them you know pi top-level bookmarks etc just thought Ill show you that with my document here if I open up this document here we can see if I opened up that I have a number of bookmarks in it or one through one through five and Ive got some sections in there as well and ideally what I wanted to do is to be able to break this document out easily having each one of these documents separate so to do that lets just grab hold of this document the first of all just loaded into the PDF Docs now Im noticing to single document mode so we can of course see on the navigation we have all of those bookmarks so to break this document down I can do this in a couple of ways now of course you can always go through and then f

Heres how to split a PDF using pdfDocs: 1. First, open the document in pdfDocs and expand the Split Extract dropdown under Save As.Select your preferred option: Split at page x. Split every x pages. Split every x megabytes. Split by top-level bookmarks.
Sign in to Acrobat. Select divider lines to set up the page ranges for each split PDF file you need. Click Save. Acrobat saves the split PDF files in your original Document Cloud folder or a new folder.
