How To Password Protect A PDF File Online Open SmallPDF on your MAC or PC. Locate the Protect PDF tool and click on it. Choose your file, or drag and drop it into the field. Input your top-secret password and click Encrypt PDF. Download your new password-protected file.
Voiding a document Open the build view of the document you wish to void. Click to expand the Properties tab. Click the Status bar at the top of the Properties tab to reveal the option to Mark as Void.
This may take a while, but once you have located it, highlight it and hit the delete key. That should remove it. It is possible that the VOID is actually split up into several content elements (e.g. V, O, I and D), in that case you would have to repeat the delete operation until all elements are gone.
On Windows, just right-click your PDF and select Properties Read-only OK. On a Mac computer, the process is a little more complex. Select the PDF and click File Get Info. You can then set access rights under the Sharing Permissions tab.
Open the PDF and choose Tools Protect Encrypt Encrypt with Password. If you receive a prompt, click Yes to change the security. Select Require a Password to Open the Document, then type the password in the corresponding field.
The Permissions setting controls restrictions that can be placed on the PDF file. To prevent the text and graphics from being copied from the PDF file, uncheck the Allow text and graphics to be copied option. You must always enter a master password when security options are enabled.
To add a topic to a collection: In the table of contents, right-click a topic and select Add this topic to an existing collection or Add this topic to a new collection. Alternatively, you can click Add to Collection.
Open a file in Acrobat and choose Tools Protect. Select whether you want to restrict editing with a password or encrypt the file with a certificate or password. Set password or security method as desired. Click OK and then click Save.
Navigate to the Manage page in your eSignature account and locate the envelope you want to delete. Then click the drop-down action list for the envelope and select Delete.
