hello Im Hans from the crust from ihe Delft Institute for water education in a previous video I showed how to delineate catchments and streams from DMS sometimes however the DM tiles contain no data pixels these are called voids in this video Im going to show how to deal with voids here you see a group of pixels that contain no data and we need to interpolate those areas with the information around for its they exist because of problems with the acquisition of the DM in this high mountainous areas probably these are areas with snow or where theres obstruction from steep mountain slopes it is easy to see that this tile has a lot of fights because we see the white background from the map canvas and the grayscale sometimes its more difficult and you need to to check if there are voids so for the procedure of catchment delineation we are first going to make a mosaic of these two tiles well do that using a virtual rester because its a temporary file which is not really used after the
