In the last video, we added some basic information to our ERPNext account and created a few transactions. We also saw the different modules that hold different documents. Now, these documents, as we saw, represent the information that is carried throughout the system. Whenever we wanted to add any information to ERPNext, it was done via these documents, like Item, Customer, Supplier etc. Each document that you see is a DocType. So, in this video, we are going to learn how DocTypes control the information in each document and other concepts related to it. Everything you see in ERPNext, whether its a customer, invoice, or an item, is defined inside ERPNext as a DocType, so lets dig deeper into DocTypes. A DocType would define the layout of the document form to the user. Every field, column, section, or table that you see in a document looks like how it does because

Switching between text styles By default, anything you type in a Google Doc is styled as Normal text. To switch styles, place the insertion point in the paragraph that you want to change. Click the Styles menu and choose the style that you want. Repeat this step as you move through your document.
The process is fairly simple: First, select the first section of text you want as you usually do. Then, press down on the Control key (Ctrl) if you are using Windows PC or the Command key (⌘) if you are using a Mac, and continue selecting the other sections that you want to select.
To see every time the word is used, in the top right, tap the arrows. Replace a single word: Tap More. Replace. Then type the replacement and tap Replace. Replace a word every time its used: Tap More. Replace all. Then type the replacement and tap Replace all.
