Lets jump into photoshop and get started! Lets start by creating a New Document Set width to a value between 2000 to 3000px with any height you want, 300 Resolution, and RGB Color Mode, then click Create. Now go to File Place Embedded to import your image. Resize your image as you want then press ENTER. Pick any selection tool and make a selection around the part you want to isolate. Heres how to do it: Open your image with docHub Illustrator. On your keyboard, press Ctrl + Shift + D (or Cmd + Shift + D on Mac). Select the image on the artboard with the Selection Tool. In the menu bar up top, click on Window. In the dropdown menu, select Image Trace.
Along the top of the Image Trace panel are six preset buttons: Auto-Color, High Color, Low Color, Grayscale, Black and White, and Outline. Simply select your image and choose one of the default presets. The preset you choose will preview live on the artboard.

If you cant find the icon on the right side toolbar, go up to Window and find Image Trace. If you dont have your art selected, youll notice that the menu is greyed out. You cant use the menu until you bring in some artwork.
Pick an image and give it a try with these steps: Open your image. Select the part of the image you want to vectorize. Add a Threshold layer. Select Tonal Areas with the Color Range Command. Convert your selection into a path. Create a solid color layer. Save the Vector Image as an SVG file.
Select the source image and open the Image Trace panel via Window Image Trace. Alternatively you can select a preset from the Control panel (by selecting from the small menu to the right of the Trace button) or the Properties panel (by clicking the Image trace button and then selecting from the menu).
After you have your logo open in your Illustrator document, go to Window Image Trace to start the process of tracing the logo. Once the Image Trace window is open, click the logo image to select it. To know whether your photo is selected or not, check whether the options are grayed out.
