hey this is ralph and in this demonstration i want to use the picture tag with some source tags to basically deliver up different images based on the users device width and their web page thats kind of tricky to think about but basically lets say theres a situation where you want to display an image on your web page but if the user is on a mobile phone a smartphone you want to display a different image so basically we could serve up a kind of like a low res or low version image for the smartphone user versus the desktop user and the only thing were really doing there is saving a little bit of bandwidth for them so lets see how that would work out now on my markup here instead of using the img tag to display an image im going to use the picture tag and then within that im going to have several things here lets see i will do a source tag you might be familiar with the source tag because of the video tag or the audio tag however with the source tag id followed up with an src att

Also known as metadata, tags describe the structure of information within a file.
JPEG files (compressed images) start with an image marker which always contains the marker code hex values FF D8 FF. It does not have a length of the file embedded, thus we need to find JPEG trailer, which is FF D9.
The header part of a JPEG file is divided into segments, and each segment starts with a marker, identifying the segment. Usually a JPEG file contains 7 different markers. A marker is a pair of bytes, the first is 255 and the second is different from 0 and 255. We identify a marker by its second byte.
Existing tags and tag counts for selected photos will be listed in the Tags tab. There are two ways to add tags: Type the tag manually: Use the text box to enter the tag and click the Add tag button. Use your Quick Tags: By presetting tags that you frequently use, you can add them with the click of a button.
To tag a photo: Tap to open the photo youd like to tag. Tap Tag photo. Type the name of the person youd like to tag, then tap Done.
Not all files or file formats in Windows 10 will expose the option to tag them. The two images below, for example, are the same, but only the image in JPEG form will let you add tags. So, this is something you should keep in mind.
Step-by-Step Process Left click to select the photos you want to tag in Windows file explorer. To select multiple files, press and hold the Shift key. Right click on the selected images and click on the Properties menu item. Go to the Details tab and click on the Tags field. Type tags in the text field provided.
