On the Table Format dialog box, select the Borders tab (Figure 6). Here you can set borders for a whole table or groups of cells within a table. In addition, a shadow can be set for the whole table. Borders have three components: where they go, what they look like, and how much space is left around them.
To change the format of a cell or range of cells: Select the cell or range of cells to be modified. Right-click the selection and select Table, or select Table Table Properties from the menu bar. From the Table Format dialog box, select the property to modify.
OpenOffice Calc Select the cells you want to add a border to. Click Format and click Cells. Click the Borders tab. Click the icon that corresponds to the borders you want in the Line Arrangement section. Customize your borders in the Line and Spacing to Contents sections. Click OK to insert your borders.

When you choose Modify, a new dialog window should appear, titled Graphics Styles: Default. Across the top of that dialog window, you should see a set of tabs. Click on the tab labeled Line. There, you can set all the line properties for the style, including the width (thickness).
Right-click on the Default Cell style and choose New. In the Cell Style dialog, enter a name for the new Cell Style in the Organiser tab. In the Font Effects tab, select the Font colour and choose the color you want, then click OK.
Step 5: If you want to set Border Line style for a cell, then you can choose it under the Line Style option.
To create a new line style: Choose Format Line from the menu bar. Select from the Line style drop‑down menu a style similar to the desired one. Click Add.
With the document open, go to FormatPageSheet tab and choose the printing options that you want to appear under the Printing heading. Be sure to click Ok once you have made your selection.
