hello my name is clay preston today im going to teach you about shading and highlighting within word alright first you can accompany hes got designed to and choose your color Im going to choose doing yellow because I like fixing then to shade or if your gonna go over top the word and up to this bucket you go to choose a color I prefer this one I like it looks good now shading it covers the entire line with highlighting if you come up to this and choose your word again go up to this little paintbrush up here choose it choose your color good choose any color you want to choose yellow and only highlights your word it does not highlight the entire line thank you for watching this video if you enjoyed leave a like and subscribe

Word provides a highlighter tool that allows you towell, highlight text, much as you would do with a highlighter pen on a printed document. The default color for highlighting is yellow, but you can change the color if you click the down-arrow to the right of the Highlight tool on the Formatting toolbar.

The highlight color will automatically apply to the text right after you choose a color from the drop-down menu.
