Google Sheets right now doesnt have the option to insert special characters so, if I were to go into cell B3 and I wanted to insert a special character its just not on the menu. If youre using Excel, like a lot of us would be, before we found Google Sheets, you would do something like you put an l in here and then youd go and switch it to Wingdings 2 which is a set of symbols in that font you cant do that either. That font is not here. So after looking and looking, I found a work around it you can do and its pretty simple. All you do is you bring up a Google Doc which is their Word Processor. From here you you have insert special characters. So it brings this dialog box. You can select symbol which is the default or lots up other types. Were just going to leave it on Symbols for now. In types of Symbols well go to geometric shapes and insert one of these and close this box an there we are. You should only have to single click, I double clicked. Highlight one of these
