Google Docs doesnt inherently support the creation of fillable PDF forms. You can create a document in Google Docs, but to make it fillable, youll need to use other tools or add-ons.
In Word, you can create a form that others can fill out and save or print. To do this, you will start with baseline content in a document, potentially via a form template. Then you can add content controls for elements such as check boxes, text boxes, date pickers, and drop-down lists.
Create a fillable PDF from an existing PDF document. Click the Tools tab and select Prepare Form. Select a file, like a Word document, Excel sheet, or scan of a paper document. Add new form fields and field names, if needed. Use the top toolbar and adjust the layout with the tools in the right pane.
