Step 1: Get a digital ID from a docHubing authority On the Tools menu, click Trust Center, and then click E-mail Security. Under Digital IDs (Certificates), click Get a Digital ID. Click Get an S/MIME certificate from an external Certification Authority, and then click OK.
You must enable the certificate for iOS Mail. Go to Settings Mail. Under Accounts select the email account associated to the S/MIME certificate. On the next screen, under select your email address (or email address ID name). On the next screen, under select your email address.
