A weak or inconsistent internet connection can be the primary culprit behind this issue. iCloud Drive requires a stable internet connection to sync and upload files seamlessly. If your connection is slow or intermittent, your files may get stuck in the upload queue.
Turn on Desktop and Documents From your Mac, choose Apple menu  System Settings. Click Apple ID, then click iCloud. Under Apps Using iCloud, click iCloud Drive. Below iCloud Drive, check that Sync this Mac is turned on. Turn on Desktop Documents Folders. Click Done.
Insufficient storage space on iCloud: If your iCloud storage is full or nearing its capacity, there may not be enough space to accommodate new uploads, causing the process to get stuck.
On your Mac, go to System Preferences, click on Apple ID, and select iCloud on the left. Then, tick the box beside iCloud Drive to enable syncing on the Mac. Note: It is similar to forcing photos to sync with iCloud on Mac, you can just tick the box beside Photos to realize it.
Why is my iCloud Drive not loading on Mac? Check whether your internet is down or the connection is weak if youve waited more than 10 minutes and the iCloud Drive still needs to be synced on your Mac. Change or restart your network if thats the case.
On your Mac, click the Finder icon in the Dock to open a Finder window. Click iCloud Drive in the sidebar, then drag files into the folders in iCloud Drive.
In the Google Cloud console, go to the Cloud Storage Buckets page. In the list of buckets, click the name of the bucket that you want to upload an object to. In the Objects tab for the bucket, either: Drag files from your desktop or file manager to the main pane in the Google Cloud console.
