How to clear a signature from a PDF. Provided the document isnt locked, you can then remove your own signature from the PDF by simply right-clicking the signature and choosing the Clear Signature option. This should remove the signature, allowing you to edit or re-sign the PDF.
A certificate-based signature, like a conventional handwritten signature, identifies the person signing a document. Unlike a handwritten signature, a certificate-based signature is difficult to forge because it contains encrypted information that is unique to the signer.
View certificate details Open the file that contains the certificate you want to view. Click File Info View Signatures. In the list, on a signature name, click the down-arrow, and then click Signature Details. In the Signature Details dialog box, click View.
Signature validity is determined by checking the authenticity of the signatures digital ID certificate status and document integrity: Authenticity verification confirms that the signers certificate or its parent certificates exist in the validators list of trusted identities.
Once the document is opened, go to Signature Panel and right-click on Signature. In show signature properties, click on Show Signers Certificate. In the signers certificate, you will see the details of the eSign and the hierarchy: CCA India C-DAC CA Signers Name, which is proof of its legitimacy.
Click Start, point to All Programs, click Microsoft Office, click Microsoft Office Tools, and then click Digital Certificate for VBA Projects. The Create Digital Certificate box appears. In the Your certificates name box, type a descriptive name for the certificate. Click OK.
To sign a document with a certificate-based signature, you must obtain a digital ID or create a self-signed digital ID in Acrobat or docHub Reader. The digital ID contains a private key and a certificate with a public key and more. The private key is used to create the certificate-based signature.
Certificate Services Support Plug in your USB . In the docHub/Reader ribbon, select the Tools tab. Scroll down to the Certificates tool and click Open. On the ribbon that now appears at the top of the page, you will be presented with options to Digitally Sign or docHub (Visible Signature).
In order to validate a signature, follow these steps: Go to the web portal and select Validate. In the Select file option, search for the signed pdf document. Click on the Validate button.
Click the Lock icon in the upper-left corner of the page. Click the link labeled: Permission Details. In the Security Method drop down, select: No Security. Enter your unlock password and click the OK button three times.
