This tutorial teaches how to remove a password from PDF files using DocHub Reader. Open the PDF, enter the password, go to File, select Print (or CTRL + P), choose docHub PDF as the printer to export as a normal PDF. To remove password, go to File, Properties, set Security Method to No Security. Save the file. Leave a comment for questions.

How to make a PDF editable with Acrobat. Navigate to the Edit PDFs tool. Click the Select a file button to upload your PDF. After the file uploads, sign in with your docHub account. Use the toolbar to add text, comments, sticky notes, highlights, and more. Download the edited PDF or get a shareable link.
Then, follow these steps: Open the PDF in Acrobat Pro on Windows or Mac. Choose Tools Encrypt Remove Security. If the document has a Document Open password, click OK to remove it. If the document has a permissions password, type the correct password in the Enter Password box and then click OK.
How Do I Edit the Text in a PDF That Is Password Protected? For a professional solution, the PDFgear application is recommended. Simply launch PDFgear on your device open a PDF and enter the password select the editing tools on the top menubar make edits on your PDF and save it.
Offline Methods to Remove Edit Protection from PDF Launch the docHub Pro application on the system. After that, an open PDF file with security protection. Now, click on the lock icon present at the left side of the window. Click the Security Method drop-down box and select No Security from the resultant list.
Remove password security Open the PDF in Acrobat. From the All tools menu, select Protect a PDF. From the left panel, select Remove security. Your options vary depending on the type of password security attached to the document: If the document has a Document Open password, select OK to remove it from the document.
Click on the Permissions tab. In the Permissions tab, you will see a list of permissions for the PDF file. By default, some permissions may be restricted. To unlock the PDF file and remove any restrictions, uncheck the boxes next to the permissions you want to remove.
Forgot the document or permissions password? Open the PDF in Acrobat. Go to File Print or click the Printer icon in the toolbar. In the Print dialog box, choose docHub PDF as the printer and click Print. Type a name for your file and click Save. The PDF is created, and it opens in Acrobat. You can now edit the PDF.
Use these steps to take away the restrictions: Upload your read-only PDF file to Acrobat to edit. If the file is protected, make sure you have the password information, then select Tools Protect Encrypt Remove Security. Then you can edit.
