Libreoffice CALC can work with different file formats including ODF, Excel, CSV, etc., but not PDF format. If you have a PDF with tables and diagrams that you want to open and edit in Libreoffice CALC, you can convert the PDF to CALC supported format, and then work with Libreoffice.
Method 1: Copy-Paste Use your cursor to select the table in the PDF. Right-click and choose Copy or use (Windows/Linux) or (Mac) to copy the selected text. Paste into Spreadsheet: Open your spreadsheet program (like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or LibreOffice Calc).
Go to the right-side toolbar of UPDF and select the Export PDF tool. After this, enter the permission password of your document and click on the Unlock button. This will allow you to select the Excel format as the output. Following this, customize the output settings and export the PDF as Excel on your system.
You can use the qpdf utility in the terminal to remove the password from the PDF file (if you know it). You may have to it first.
Click File Open in the dialog box navigate to your pdf and select it, click Open. Thats it.

LibreOffice is a free, open-source, and fully-featured office productivity suite.
