To turn off highlighting, click the highlight tool again. Remove a highlight, an underline, or a strikethrough: Control-click the text, then choose Remove item from the shortcut menu.
Remove all highlights from PDF. Click on the Comment left sidebar. Now, a window will open and list all the comments. Select the highlights you want to delete by holding the Ctrl key and clicking the highlights. Simply press the Delete key on your keyboard to remove all highlights from PDF.

Remove all highlights and comments from text Select the text where you want to remove highlights and comments. To remove them for all body text in the document, press Command-A on your keyboard. Choose Edit Remove Highlights and Comments (from the Edit menu at the top of your screen).
How To Remove Highlights From a PDF Open the PDF file with highlighted content in the PDF editor. Click on the highlighted area of text and choose Delete. If you have another highlight layer, click on it again and delete the rest. Edit the file as needed, and then download your file.
Select the already highlighted text. Click the down arrow next to the Highlight button in the Toolbar to reveal the markup options. Select Remove. This will remove all highlights from the selected text.
Single-click on the area of highlighted text you wish to remove. A small toolbox will appear with two options, allowing you to change the color of your highlight or delete the highlight altogether.
Select View Tab Highlight Fields from the menu. The same step will toggle the field highlights off.
