To sign a PDF on Mac OS using Preview app, first open the PDF and click on the show marker toolbar. Then, select the signature icon and create/save your signature using laptop's trackpad, webcam, or iPhone/iPad. For trackpad, click the text and sign with your finger. If using webcam, select camera and sign on paper. Press firmly on a force touch trackpad for a thicker stroke. Tap any key and click done to finalize the signature.

Transform your document into a fillable PDF form. Open the application, click the Tools tab, and select Prepare Form. Upload your document. Add form fields where appropriate. Save and download your form as a PDF.

Click the Text Box option in the Form Control panel, and click and hold your mouse on your PDF to insert a fillable text box with the defined size.
