How to edit text in a PDF on a Mac. Select Tools. Select Annotate. Tap the text icon. Place your cursor on the PDF where you want to add new text. Type the text. Use the text icon to change the font, size, and style of the text.

How to convert a PDF to Word on a Mac with Preview. Open the PDF in Preview. The Preview app thumbnail looks like a photo and a loupe. If the file doesnt automatically open in Preview, control-click the file and select Open With Preview. Export and save as a Word file. Choose File Export.
Right-click to select Open With Preview and open the document with Preview. Select the text you want to copy and click Cmd+C. Open a blank document on Notes, Microsoft Word, or Google Docs and paste the text using Cmd+V. Save the file as a doc or docx file.
