many years ago I started recommending the Foxit reader from Foxit software to replace docHub reader as your PDF reader of choice so pdfs are those types of documents that are commonly found for manuals and online forms and things like that and one of the biggest questions I get is how to fill in those forms without having to print them out and in writing on them and then re scanning them or using gosh forbid a typewriter well if you download some forms like for example this w9 from the IRS you will see they have all these nice yellow squares and yellow boxes for us to type in and theres nothing special thatll work with any reader and I can sit on here and I can type in any particular square thats yellow thats not a big problem however if you want to get a form like for example this confirmation form from a bank theres no such yellow squares and Foxit reader just recently added in some of their new updates the ability to do that and this is how to do that to get to these editing to

Some people protect PDF documents from being edited or tampered with. So if you cant edit PDF documents check to see it they are protected. There are some PDF readers that dont allow you to edit the document. You might want to find a PDF reader that can also edit PDFs.
Edit a PDF Go to File Open. Find the PDF and open it (you might have to select Browse and find the PDF in a folder). Word tells you that its going to make a copy of the PDF and convert its contents into a format that Word can display. After your edits, you save it as a Word doc or a PDF.
Open the docHub Reader DC program and click on the Fill and Sign button in the Recommended tools for you section. Click on the Select a file button in the middle of your screen to upload the PDF you want to edit. To add text to the document yourself, click on the Fill and Sign button.
Add new text to a PDF using a PC. Open your file in the Acrobat PDF Editor. Select Fill Sign on the right side of the screen. Choose the Add Text tool, which looks like an upper-case A next to a lower-case b. Click anywhere in the PDF where youd like to add text and start typing.
Write on PDF files using a free PDF Editor Go to the iLovePDF PDF Editor. Select the PDF file you want to edit or drag and drop it to start. In the top toolbar, choose from the writing tools, Text or Draw. You can freehand draw or type on the original PDF document.
Make sure that the security settings allow form filling. (See File Properties Security.) Make sure that the PDF includes interactive, or fillable, form fields. Sometimes form creators forget to convert their PDFs to interactive forms, or they intentionally design a form you can only fill in by hand.
Click the Lock icon in the upper-left corner of the page. Click the link labeled: Permission Details. In the Security Method drop down, select: No Security. Enter your unlock password and click the OK button three times.

These issues can occur when you open a PDF file in docHub Reader instead of docHub, which is used for editing PDF file. Note: If the PDF file is password protected, you need to have the document open password and the change permissions password to edit the PDF/PDF Portfolio.
