Select Pivot Table from the Insert menu. Drag and drop data fields from the left, to set the rows and columns of the pivot table. Use the menu (or toolbar) to perform the following: Insert data fields into your RTF templates. Insert tables, forms, charts, and pivot tables. Preview your template in multiple outputs. Browse and update the content of form fields. Validate your template. Perform calculations on fields within the template.
On the Insert menu select Table Wizard. Step 1: Select Report Format. Start by selecting the basic report format. Step 2: Select Table Data. Step 3: Select Data Fields. Step 4: Group the Table. Working with the RTF Layout Open the RTF layout in Word, and on the BI toolbar click Sample XML in the Load Data, browse to the XML you saved and click ok. Make changes to your layout and Save. NOTE: be sure to keep the layout as RTFdo NOT save as DOC or DOCX.

RTF supports the displaying text, tables and images in the same document, and has a set of control words to insert/embed pictures. There are two essential steps to include picture (e.g., image file) in the document.
RTF does not support VBA macros. However, templates that contain macros can be actively associated with an RTF file. RTF does not support toolbars, because document-specific toolbars employ VBA. In the same way, RTF does not support autotext lists since these also employ VBA.
