hi this is Caleb without design tips Im going to show you how you can mask images within a shape in one of our previous videos we added this image to a square by dragging and dropping the file from the finder on to the actual square so we had this image here in the assets folder and what we did is we just dragged and dropped and it just replace that square with an image and in a lot of cases this is fine to do but if you want control over where this image lives inside your mask then theres an easier way to do this so here because we dragged and dropped it directly when we stretch this then we see that this is a fit to fill and so we dont get the cropping and the the spacing that we want so instead of this what Im going to do is just delete this image and then Im going to hit R for rectangle and Im just going to draw another square Im going to make sure this is 345 by 345 and then if I hit escape a few times I can get into my select tool and 1 2 3 4 5 I can make that 15 pixel pad
