hey everyone and welcome back to the galaxy today i am remaking an outdated video on how to place an image within text lets get into it im starting with three layers one text layer one image layer and one background layer first right click on your text layer and go to alpha to selection now we can hide this text layer by clicking the eye next right click on your image layer and select add layer mask in this new dialog we are going to choose selection and then click add we can get rid of these marching ants by going up to select none you can edit the placement of the image within the text by selecting the layer mask and using the move tool you can also edit the text placement without editing the image inside by making this image layer active and dragging it around and thats it you have successfully placed your image within text i hope you enjoyed this tutorial if you did consider subscribing for more awesome content let us know if you found this tutorial helpful by liking this video
