These instructions only work for Google Chrome. With the Google Doc open, select File Print. In the Destination field, select Save to Google Drive, then select Save. The PDF will be saved to your Google Drive. You can view or share it directly from this location.
You can save a Google Doc as a PDF via the File menu in Google Docs. From there, you also have the ability to email it as a PDF attachment. The same tasks can be accomplished via the Google Docs app on Android and iPhone.
If you are still unable to download a Google Docs file as a PDF, you should check the extensions installed on your browser. Likely, some extensions installed on your browser might not have received updates. This means they are no longer compatible with your browser.
How to download a Google Docs file from your Android or iPhone Open the Google Docs app and open a document. Tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the screen. Tap Share export. Tap Save As. Select the file type youd like to save your document as.
Click on the File menu at the top left corner of the Google Docs interface. From the drop-down menu, hover over the Download option and select PDF Document from the sub-menu. This will initiate the conversion process.
On your computer, open a Google Doc. At the top, click File. Print. At the left, next to Destination, select Save as PDF.
