With the image selected, click the Image Trace button in the Properties panel to the right of the document, and choose Low Fidelity Photo. You can also choose Object Image Trace Make, with raster content selected, or begin tracing from the Image Trace panel (Window Image Trace).

All you need is a soft graphite pencil or stick. Take the graphite and cover the back of the surface of the drawing that you want to transfer. This is called carboning the surface. Lay the drawing down on the surface that you to transfer the drawing to and then just trace the image.
You simply place a thin sheet of paper over your chosen image and use a pencil to draw or trace over the visible lines and images. You will need to have a template image that is dark enough to see through the thin paper. You will also need to have enough light to see what you are tracing.
After you have your logo open in your Illustrator document, go to Window Image Trace to start the process of tracing the logo. Once the Image Trace window is open, click the logo image to select it. To know whether your photo is selected or not, check whether the options are grayed out.
