When we think about who might want to track a phone, usually three types of entities come to mind: Governments and law enforcement, companies and individuals. All of them have different resources which determines the type of location tracking they are capable of. Visit com/find on a browser and log in to your Google account. If you have multiple devices, select the missing device from the list. Youll see the devices approximate location on the map. And since the lost phone is dead, youll get its last recorded location, if available.

To find a lost phone that is switched off; Go to Android.com/find on your web browser. Sign in with the Google account connected to the lost device. The device will be displayed at the top of the screen.
If the number is registered, then simply follow the below procedure: Open the Google maps page on your android or tablet. Sign in to your Google account. Search for the contact number you want to find. Choose the number that you wish to track. The contact details will be available to you at the bottom of the screen.
Its a good idea to make sure youve enabled location services on your phone and provided Google with permission to trace your phone location. To do so, head to Settings Google. Hit Find My Device and toggle it on to enable tracking.
Find My Device is another Google app to track a cell phone location for free. It runs only on Android devices. Most tracker apps powered by Google are designed for locating lost phones but can also track location with pinpoint accuracy. Download and the app on the target device.
To find a lost phone that is switched off; Go to Android.com/find on your web browser. Sign in with the Google account connected to the lost device. The device will be displayed at the top of the screen. Click the lost phone, its last location will be displayed on the map.
