hello everyone my name is and today i am going to show you how to make time stamp in excel so what is time stamp if we will make entry here and it will capture that time automatically and fix it we can try this trick through now function but there is one problem if we will simply use now function and we will open the sheet after some time so this time will update to that time so how can we restrict this prime we need to use a function so basically if we will post entry here then we wont time here so thats why im linking this cell first if this is not equal to blank so double quotes is the symbol of blank and now here is the trick if b4 which is your data entry cell b4 is not equal to blank also then we will use b4 else we will use now now what v4 will do here before we restrict that time which already entered to this cell close the parentheses first it has closed now comma if all conditions are not fulfilled then we wont blank close the parentheses and enter now we can drag and dro
