Its actually really quite simple. Your presentation is copyrighted at the exact moment you create it, especially if it incorporates tangible things like graphics and logos. A creative work becomes copyrighted the instant it is written down, or fixed in some other tangible form (e.g. a video recording, etc.).
If you are you using materials or ideas that are your own intellectual property, dont forget to add a copyright disclaimer (also referred to as a copyright notice) to your presentation.Just add: Your name/company name. Year or years the content was created in. Copyright symbol. Rights reserved statement (optional)
Click VIEW Normal, and click the slide you want to change. Click INSERT Header Footer. Click the Slide tab, make the changes you want, and click either Apply to apply the changes to the selected slides, or Apply to All to make the changes to all the slides.
Open the presentation that you want to make read-only, then click the File tab. Next, in the left-hand pane, select Info. Youll now see a Protect Presentation section, which lets you (to an extent) protect against any editing of your presentation. Click Protect Presentation.
Share and collaborate with PowerPoint Select Share on the ribbon. Enter the names or email addresses of the people you want to share with. Or select the drop-down to change permissions. Allow editing is checked by default. Include a message if youd like and select Send.
To add symbols, on the Insert tab, and then in the Symbols group, click Symbol, and then click the symbol that you want. For example: To insert the copyright symbol, press Ctrl+Alt+C. To insert the trademark symbol, press Ctrl+Alt+T. To insert the registered trademark symbol, press Ctrl+Alt+R.
Restrict changes to PowerPoint presentations Select File Info. Select Protect Presentation, point to Restrict Access, and then select Restricted Access. In the Permission dialog box, select Restrict permission to this presentation, and then assign the access levels that you want for each user.
Method #1. Protect Your Presentation with a Watermark or a Password Copyright your PowerPoint slides by adding a watermark. With iSpring Suite, you can watermark your presentation with, for example, your corporate logo or copyright notice like 2020 John Smith. Set a password. Restrict time.
You can add a password so that only authorized users can modify a presentation. Unauthorized users can still open the presentation and then save it by using a different file name. Click File Passwords. Under Password to modify, select the Require a password to modify the presentation check box.
Your presentation is copyrighted at the exact moment you create it, especially if it incorporates tangible things like graphics and logos. A creative work becomes copyrighted the instant it is written down, or fixed in some other tangible form (e.g. a video recording, etc.).
