On the Page Layout tab, click Columns, then click the layout you want. To apply columns to only part of your document, with your cursor, select the text that you want to format. On the Page Layout tab, click Columns, then click More Columns. Click Selected text from the Apply to box.
The column-rule shorthand CSS property sets the width, style, and color of the line drawn between columns in a multi-column layout.
The column-rule-color CSS property determines the color of a line between columns in a CSS multi-column layout. The property cant act alone! In order to see the color, we need to make the line technically called a rule between columns. That requires the column-rule-style property.
