Hi, its Paul. Today Im going to do the traffic lights, and Im going to do it in structured text. Im pretty much starting right from the beginning. Lets take a look at what I have here. Heres my trainer and Im only using the top lights. Ive got this set up for doing uh additional things. Ive got a, a walk and dont walk, and Ive got a counter but Im not going to use any of that. All Im going to do is a very simple traffic light. If you look at my, my studio 5000 here, Ive got a routine called traffic st, and when I check my main program, my properties, configuration, that routine is my main routine. If you set up your new routine and either you dont have a jump to sub routine or you dont make it your main routine, then its not going to run so make sure you take care of that.
