hey everyone in this video Im going to link an architectural Revit model into a structural Revit file this will be part one in a video series that shows how I set up an architectural Revit file when I start a new structural project Ill be using the default straight out of the box for every structural template so there are no cups customizations already set so Im gonna go to file new project drop this down select the default structural template and click OK okay so by default it goes to level 2 thats why its bolded here Im gonna double click level 1 so I am on the first level yeah then Im going to go to the insert tab and click link Revit and heres the architectural Revit file that I want to link into my structural file so Im gonna select that and there are some positioning options here and by default it goes to by shared coordinates the other options are auto senator center and this option here the center point of the incoming architectural model gets placed at the center of
