- Todays Fast Friday is in two different parts. First, the education, then a personal story. (relaxed music) Hi everyone and welcome to pal2tech. Most of you know by now that Fuji film cameras shoot in both JPEG and raw format. JPEGs the universal standard thats found all across the web, social media, and offers a decent file size and the ability for you to control the quality of the file compression. Now, raw format is just that: its the raw image format coming straight from your camera sensor. And with any raw file, you need to have a software program that can demosaic, read, and translate the raw file into an image that you can see, edit, and manipulate. Now on some Fuji film cameras, most notably the XT4 and the GFX line, you also have an option to perform an in-camera conversion to TIF format. TIF stands for tag image file format, and actually TIF format has been around for a long time. And its usually seen on more expensive medium format cameras. Now to be able to get a TIF

High notes have a high frequency and a high number of hertz; they have a lot of vibrations or many waves per second. Low notes have a low frequency and a low number of hertz. You will notice listening to the bells that the smaller the bell the higher the pitch and the larger the bell the lower the pitch.
Four types of baseline TIFF images are available: bilevel (black and white), gray scale, palette (i.e., indexed), and RGB (i.e., true color). RGB images may store up to 16.7 million colors. Palette and gray-scale images are limited to 256 colors or shades. A common extension of TIFF also allows for CMYK images.
Are TIFFs and PNGs raster or vector files? TIFFs and PNGs are both raster image files, which means theyre pixel-based. On the other hand, vector files use a series of mathematical grids, points, and formulas, allowing them to maintain their resolution at almost any size.
A TIFF, or tagged image file format, is a lossless raster format hailed for its extremely high image quality. Often the format used by professionals in creative industries, these files require a large amount of storage space and are a challenge to share unless zipped or sent using file-sharing tools.
The TIFF specification defines a framework for an Image File Header (IFH), Image File Directories (IFDs), and associated bitmaps. Each IFD and its associated bitmap are sometimes called a TIFF subfile. There is no limit to the number of subfiles a TIFF image file may contain.
Tiff files are designed for high-quality publications, and therefore normally are saved at higher resolutions, usually 150-300 ppi.
The biggest determinant is the overall size of the bell; the larger the bell, the lower and deeper the tone that will be produced. As such, the smaller the bell, the higher the tone.
The shape of the bell or leadpipe determines how much of the wave is reflected back inside, and consequently affects the strength of the resonance. A smaller bell reflects more energy into the instrument.
TIFF or Tagged Image File Format are lossless images files meaning that they do not need to compress or lose any image quality or information (although there are options for compression), allowing for very high-quality images but also larger file sizes. Compression: Lossless - no compression. Very high-quality images.
A baseline TIFF file can contain a sequence of images (IFD). Typically, all the images are related but represent different data, such as the pages of a document. In order to explicitly support multiple views of the same data, the SubIFD tag was introduced. This allows the images to be defined along a tree structure.
