were in Microsoft Word 2013 Im going to show you the strikethrough option if youd like to keep words on a screen but strike through them such as a task that youve completed then you can do that with a simple click of a button so first we will left-click and drag across a word and we can just go ahead go right up to the menu under the Home tab or you have ABC with strikethrough on it go ahead and click that and you can see that you can still read the word but it has a strikethrough and then if you want to go ahead and choose the rest of the sentence you can just do the same thing and if you want to undo the strikethrough and you can select the whole sentence and check the box again and then it goes away
