you can create your own custom shapes right in powerpoint just go to the insert tab and enter insert any shape that you like im going to do a giant circle right here just hold down the shift key to increase the size proportionally now im going to go and insert another shape any other shape will do im going to use this star shape down here and now im going to change the color so you can see that im going to resize the star i want it actually to be a little smaller than the circle because im going to place it in the middle of the circle and i want it to give this cookie cutter effect so what were going to do is place that in the center hold down the shift key so that both shapes are selected and then go up to the merge shapes drop down menu and im going to go to fragment when you click fragment and go back to your shapes you can see that both shapes are still there but now instead of a circle you actually have this star cut out of the middle cool custom shape right in powerpoint
