all right okay well hello everyone thank you for joining um we are going to have a discussion session on a paper and project that is called peritex which was a thing four of us did together that is jeffrey um from mit um slim who is uh buckley now i think are you um uh peter van hartenberg who runs the incan switch lab and myself at the time at cambridge but this project was all done as part of ink and switch as part of our general exploration of local first software so probably if youre listening to this youre probably familiar with local first software so the idea that we want apps like google docs or things like that but without google just being able to lock us out of all of our files and all of our data at a whim so keeping the data on our own devices and being able to synchronize via any types of servers and so we in particular like google docs is just an example app but it is actually quite close to what we were looking at in this peritects paper because what weve wanted to d
