hey guys welcome back to another smarter architect tutorial today were going to deal with a little bit different topic because I just feel like Im going through creating a portfolio to show a particular project that were working on in my professional work and I wanted to address an issue that I wasnt able to address see a video I couldnt find any video that really gave me an answer so I wanted to create one to add to the YouTube world and so here we go and what Im going to look at in this video very quickly is if you look at this particular spread that I created based on where we are in the project youll see that I wanted to add a margin to the left edge and that seems like a very simple task but it wasnt the YouTube videos that I could find I just wanted to be able to give myself and if you look at this one youll see that I was able to add about a half inch margin its a little bit larger than that but what it does is give me room for spiral bounding so if youre an architect

By default, PDFs are created with a margin of . 75in. You can set the following adjust attributes within the @page CSS selector: margin, border, padding and background.
Click on Page Setup at the bottom of the section. In the Page Setup that appears, click on Margins. Set the margins and then press OK.
You may wish to set up docHub to show a grid line to represent the page margin settings. From the main menu, click on Edit, then Preferences. From the left-hand list of features, select Units Guides. Set up the grid lines ing to the settings in the image below.
The option to set custom margins can be found in the same place as the standard ones. Open the Edit Tab. Choose Margin. Pick Page Margin Setup.
This behavior can be changed by going to Edit, Preferences, Page Display, then check/uncheck Enhance Thin Lines.
You cant change the default one-inch margins when you print a PDF using docHub Reader. The margin menu is grayed out in the Page Setup. However, docHub Reader DC allows you to adjust the size of your pages output. To do this, select a percentage of less than or more than 100 percent in Page Setup.
This measurement may not be accurate for margins setting. Open the PDF document using the docHub Reader software. Click the Tools tab on the toolbar and select Measure. In the secondary toolbar, click Measuring Tool. Use the Distance Tool to measure the margins of the page.
