For example, in the new Microsoft Edge , select Settings and more Settings Downloads . The file path for your downloaded files (for example, C:\Users\[your name]\Downloads) is listed under Location. In Microsoft Edge Legacy , select Settings and more Settings .
Edge keeps temporary files in a folder called Temporary Internet Files located in the users AppData folder. This folder is typically hidden and can be accessed by typing %AppData% into the File Explorer.
By default, Microsoft Edge saves downloads to your computers Downloads folder. By selecting Save as, you can choose the destination folder every time, but you can also set Microsoft Edge to autosave downloads to your preferred destination.
The delete option in the Edge downloads pane deletes the files directly, they do not go to the recycle bin, and there is no setting to change that behaviour, the only way to recover those files would be to use some 3rd party recovery utility to try to undelete and recover those files.
With a document open in an Office program, click File Save As OneDrive. If you havent signed in, do that now by clicking Sign In. Or if you havent signed up for a Microsoft account, click Sign up. After you sign up or sign in, save your document to OneDrive.
