Change app permissions On your device, open the Settings app. Tap Apps. Tap the app you want to change. If you cant find it, tap See all apps. Tap Permissions. If you allowed or denied any permissions for the app, youll find them here. To change a permission setting, tap it, then choose Allow or Dont allow.
THIRD METHOD​ Open terminal window in folder. Run shell with super user. adb shell su. Remount system and get in to folder of host file. Display the host file in terminal window. Manualy edit host file, this is with a example ip. You should see this now after running cat hosts. Exit shell by typing exit.

FIRST METHOD​ Open a terminal window in the folder of platform tools. Pull the hosts file out of the phone to your PC. Once you have pulled the hosts file to the desired location you can edit it. After you have edited the host file to your needs, you need to send it back to your phone.
To Create and Write a Private File in Internal Storage: FileOutputStream() method: It is called with the name of the file and the correct mode. read() method: It is used for reading files. write() method: It is used for writing in the file. close() method: It is used to close your file.
Open Hosts Editor is a free and open source application to edit the /etc/hosts file for Android devices. It is available for download from Play Store. Your device must be rooted. Not all devices have the hosts file in the same path, so it might not work on yours.
If your device is rooted, all you would have to do is to download a file explorer ( such as ES File Explorer File Manager - Android Apps on Google Play ) give it super user permission and enable the in-app setting which makes system files writable. You can then use the file explorer to replace or edit the hosts file.
The hosts file on Android devices is located in the /etc/hosts folder.
