You can use the position: sticky . See . There is no need for a fixed width column. Sure, this is the easiest and the most logical way to do it, I did only: $(table th:first). This should be the accepted answer.
To freeze the row/column we can use a simple HTML table and CSS. HTML: In HTML we can define the header row by tag or we can use tag also. Below example is using the tag. We also put the table in DIV element to see the horizontal and vertical scrollbar by setting the overflow property of the DIV element.
To begin with, create a 2 column section Add a bunch of stuff in the left column to make the whole section very tall, then add everything you want to be sticky in an inner section in the right column. That will be the Elementor sticky column, that will stay sticky until the end of the column.
On Scroll Sticky Header. The header will stick to the top when you docHub its scroll position. Scroll back up to remove the sticky effect. Some text to enable scrolling..
To set the sticky state of the Grid columns: Use their sticky option. Ensure that the Grid is scrollable (it is by default). Set the width option of all columns so that the Grid is able to adjust the positions of the sticky columns.
You can make a single left or right column sticky using the position: sticky CSS property. Note that position: sticky is supported by Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, but not IE11. IE11 does fail gracefully though the columns just dont stick.
11/12/2022. Sticky Columns is an option for the Column Element, that makes a Column sticky within a Container. You can use this feature in many ways. In a simple example here on this page, we have a 1/6 column to the left of this 5/6 column, and the 1/6 column is set to sticky.
Sticky columns enable you to display specific columns at all times while the user scrolls the Grid horizontally. This specific column will be scrollable as well, however, it will fix its position to the left/right when it docHubes left/right Grid border.
