[Music] hello this is greg from sharepoint maven and in todays video i would like to explain to you how you can easily switch the date field the format of a date field from a friendly to standard uh format let me explain to you what im talking about so by default when you lets say create a new library or have an existing library and upload some uh documents into that library what happens is that if you notice on the modified date column it obviously shows us the uh the date it was last modified uh however if you notice instead in some instances instead of the typical you know month date uh year format it shows us either you know the month and date no year or in some cases it just shows us you know when the document was modified a few minutes ago a few days ago etc this is whats called the friendly format all right where instead of uh the actual date it actually shows us uh kind of a you know in a text format kind of explains us when things uh were modified what if i want to displa
