ok so now were going to show you how stacking works with the PI so you have this role of GPIO pins here on the Raspberry Pi and we want to be able to bring those GPIO pins out to a breakout board where you can use them for servos sensors and other things and mount level converters like this so that you can utilize those GPI opens but you also want to be able to use displays such as this display so the way to do that is you stack these things so first of all you can see I have mounted a 40 pin header on this Adafruit PI hat and soldered all the pins in this this header is intended for stacking because you can see the header basically has pins that continue through and protrude just like the PI does so this special header is a stacking header so we use that stacking header instead of a regular header which when of course have the pins chopped off so we plug that so we plug this into the PI like that and now you can see its its connected we also need a good mechanical support here so
