This process can be time-consuming if done manually, but Macbook offers a program called Automator to streamline this task. Simply open Automator, create a new workflow, and explore the various options available to split your PDF files efficiently.

I will show you how to do it below. Step 1: Go to Print The first thing you should do is open your PDF with Preview. Step 2: Select pages. Next, in the Copies option in the Print window, you can set the pages you want to extract from the PDF. Step 3: Choose Save as PDF Step 4: Save your file.
Combine PDFs in Preview on Mac In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDFs you want to combine. In each open PDF, choose View Thumbnails to display the page thumbnails in the sidebar. Drag the thumbnails you want to add to the thumbnail sidebar in the other PDF. Command-click to select nonadjacent thumbnails.
How to extract pages from a PDF Open the Organize Pages tool. Click the Select a File button. Open a PDF you want to extract pages from. Select Extract in the top menu. Highlight pages you want to extract. Click Extract to extract the selected pages. Save your new PDF.
Extract from PDF using Preview Launch Preview and open your PDF. Preview is the default PDF reader for macOS. In the menu bar at the top of the screen, click the View menu and choose Thumbnails. Choose which pages of your PDF you will extract. Hold down the Command key as you click each page.
Open the PDF document. On a Mac, this will open the preview app. Using the thumbnail views, scroll down to the first page that you want to save separately from your PDF. Drag and drop the single page from the thumbnail of the PDF to your Mac desktop.
Take these steps to split a PDF on your Mac using Preview: Open your PDF in the Preview app. Open the thumbnail view and select the page or pages you would like to separate. Drag and drop the pages to your desktop or to another folder.
Open the PDF in Acrobat. Choose Organize Pages Split. Choose how you want to split a single file or multiple files. Name and save: Click Output Options to decide where to save, what to name, and how to split your file.
You can also right-click the PDF, choose Open with, and then choose Preview. In the menu bar at the top of the screen, click the View menu and choose Thumbnails. Choose which pages of your PDF you will extract. Hold down the Command key as you click each page.
