Press Control + Print Screen (PrtScn). In the Snipping Tool dialog box, click the down arrow beside the New button and select Free-form Snip or Rectangular Snip from the list. Select the area of your screen that you want to capture. The screenshot will appear in the Snipping Tool window.
In PowerPoint: On the Insert tab, in the Images group, click Screenshot. The Available Windows gallery appears, showing you all the windows that you currently have open. Do one of the following: To insert a screenshot of an entire window into your document, click the thumbnail image of that window.
Press Ctrl + PrtScn keys. The entire screen changes to gray including the open menu. Select Mode, or in earlier versions of Windows, select the arrow next to the New button. Select the kind of snip you want, and then select the area of the screen capture that you want to capture.
Select the text you want to copy, and then on the keyboard, press Ctrl+X to cut or Ctrl+C to copy. Go to the slide where you want to paste the text, and on the keyboard press Ctrl+P to paste.
Cut and Paste Select the text, slide, or object youd like to move. Click the Cut button on the Home tab. Press Ctrl + X. The text, slide, or object is removed from its original location and is kept in the Clipboard. Select the slide where you want to paste. Click where you want to paste the text. Click Paste.
To capture just the application window screen shot, get to the screen you want to capture, make sure it is the active window (the title bar should not be dimmed) and press the Alt-PrtSc key combination (hold down the Alt key and press the Prt Sc key).
First, select the picture on the slide. Then, look for the PICTURE TOOLS FORMAT tab, which appears when you select the picture. Click FORMAT. On the FORMAT tab, in the Size group, click the arrow under Crop, and point to Crop to Shape.
