In this video tutorial, we demonstrate how to disable printing in a PDF file to protect its content. You can do this by using a PDF writer tool to make the document secure. By deselecting the allowed printing checkbox in the printing settings, the document will be protected. Once published, the protected document will have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with the Lock Lizard secure PDF viewer. Without printing allowed, the print icon will be greyed out, and printing shortcuts will not work, effectively disabling printing capabilities.
