In this video, we're going to show you how to disable PDF printing. First, open Windows Explorer and locate the document you want to protect. Right-click on the PDF and choose "Make Secure PDF." In the PDF writer, select the Printing and Viewing tab. Deselect the allowed printing checkbox and click publish. The protection status window confirms success. The protected document now has a .pdc extension and can only be opened with Lock Lizard Secure PDF Viewer. The print icon is greyed out in the viewer, preventing printing. Therefore, printing has effectively been disabled.
