Hi. In this Excel tutorial, were going to go over a couple of ways to make a chart more interactive. Well first insert a Spin Button to the chart and then add a Slider to the chart. Well be using Form Controls for this, which are located in the Developer tab. If you do not have the Developer tab, simply right-click anywhere on your Ribbon, select Customize the Ribbon, and, here, on the left side, youll look for the Developer tab, add it to the right side, and click OK. So, on my screen is some data by quarter for several years. I want to create a chart for this to display the results by my chosen year and Ill add some interactivity to it by using a Spin Button and a Scroll Bar Slider. So, one thing to keep in mind is that both the Spin Button and the Scroll Bar need to be linked to one cell. So, to make it easier, right above our data - and Im actually going to move this down a little bit - Im going to add a row summarizing the data for one year at a time. So, well
