Open a Google Slides presentation and select the text area where you want to place a bullet point list. Press More (the ellipsis icon) in the toolbar. Select the Bulleted lists symbol. Alternatively, you can also use the Ctrl+Shift+8 keyboard shortcut to begin a bullet list in Google Slides.
The right slide format for your PowerPoint presentation: 16:9 is the common aspect ratio of most modern notebooks and is also standard for PowerPoint. 16:10 is best for presentations on MacBooks and office monitors.
By default, the size of the new presentation in PowerPoint, is currently a widescreen type presentation, 13.333 inch by 7.5 inch. Mostly you will have 96 dots per inch (dpi) on your screen settings, so this means that a default PowerPoint presentation has a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels.
Use 4:3 ratio as default. If you can't get information on the ratio of hardware ahead of the presentation, or if you will be doing many presentations with the same slides, 4:3 ratio is a safe bet.
Okay, so when you open PowerPoint and start a new presentation, your slide size is set to the default which is 10 inches by 7.5 inches. This is also 1024 x 768 pixels at 96dpi. There are ways to widen the slide, make it smaller, and customize the dimensions to fit exactly what you're looking for.
Go to Design > Slide Size > Custom Slide Size. Select either Portrait or Landscape, depending on the orientation of the slide you want to print.
Widescreen (16:9) slides have a size of 13.33 x 7.5 inches or 33.867 x 19.05 cm.
In order to keep the amount of information in each bullet point concise and to keep the slide from looking cluttered, you should keep the six by six guideline in mind. It states that each slide should aim to have no more than six bullet points and each bullet point should aim to have no more than six words.
The default ratio for a Powerpoint presentation is 4:3. However, the default ratio of widescreen video is 16:9. (You can see how the outline is shaped more like a square in the 4:3 example versus the more rectangle in the 16:9 ratio example.
