So I want to quickly talk about how to replace all the fonts on all of your PowerPoint slides. I want to talk about where it works, where it doesnt work, and most importantly, how to fix bad fonts from continuing to show up within your presentation. So even after I had fixed my fonts in a number of my decks, I was still getting these bad fonts. So I do want to make the point that just because you replace fonts within your presentation, and Ill show you where this is in PowerPoint in a second, does not mean all right? You can set the default font and its size in Tools Options OpenOffice.org Writer Basic Fonts (Western). ALTERNATIVE METHOD: Choose Format Styles and Formatting, right click on Default and choose Modify Font.
Go to Format Font Font. + D to open the Font dialog box. Select the font and size you want to use. Select Default, and then select Yes.
perform the following: Open a new Calc spreadsheet. Go to Styles - Manage Styles (or F11 ) Click icon Cell Styles (leftmost icon below Styles*) Right click on Default Modify - Tab: Font. Set your preferred font + options. Click OK. Menu File - Templates - Save as Template. Provide a Template Name (e.g. MyCalcTemplate )
Impress provides two separate dialogs related to text formatting. To modify the formatting such as font, font effects and so on, select the text in the shape and then go to Format Character.
The default fonts specified on the OpenOffice.org Writer Basic Fonts (Western) page apply to both Writer documents and HTML (Web) documents. If you want to change the defaults, do so on the OpenOffice.org Writer Basic Fonts (Western) page (Figure 35).
Press F11, you will see a style dialog. Right click on Default, and change the font. This method allows to change the font/size for all the text in the impress presentation wich uses the same style.
Change the default font in PowerPoint Click View Slide Master. On the Slide Master tab, click the Fonts drop-down menu. Select the font you want to use for all the slides in the presentation. Click Close Master View. The text throughout your presentation is automatically updated to the new font.
Add new fonts using the Font management tools for your Operating System (for example in Microsoft Windows, you add new fonts via Start Settings Fonts). You may need to restart OpenOffice (including the Quickstarter), to see the new fonts in the Font Name list box.
